Pioneers Partnership has been leading Primary teacher training in Rochdale, Oldham and Tameside for over 10 years. Our vision is underpinned by a strong moral purpose to serve the pupils of our local partner schools, by improving the life chances of those children, some of whom come from the most disadvantaged wards in the country.

Teach First is a charity that believes education is the most powerful tool to help a child fulfil their potential. They develop teachers and school leaders and support schools facing the toughest challenges. They have been training teachers for 20 years and are the largest initial teacher training provider in the country. Teach First’s initial teacher training is rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.

Our one-year, research-led training will give you hands-on experience and allows you to train to teach in a school near you.

In school, you will spend time with expert teachers, observing lessons and learning how to teach and plan lessons, and practise your own teaching. You will work closely with highly skilled, knowledgeable mentors, who will also receive support and training from Pioneers Partnership.
Your weekly training day is designed in collaboration with Teach First’s expert curriculum designers and sequenced to make sure you are focused on the areas of teaching that are most relevant to that point in the year. The training will include a mixture of online and face-to-face elements.
